Washing machines. Zanussi vs Siemens

I am about to buy a new washing machine. I have always bought Zanussi but am now considering Siemens. I know Siemens tend to be dearer but are they better quality/build and worth the extra?

Love to hear some views on this subject.

It’s a no brainer, Siemens everytime. Better build quality, less water and electricity consumption, Quieter on spin, nicer looking and most come with a five year warranty.

You get what you pay for 😉

There is a certain air of quality about Siemens and a big step up from Zanussi that’s for sure. I believe Siemens are running a £100 ‘cash back’ promo so a good time to buy right now. 😀

Bit rude that Don thinks I’m brainless. The reason I asked the question was because I know through experience that many of these ‘famous’ brand name appliances are all produced by a ‘few’ manufacturers so many of the working components are the same and main differences are often cosmetic. :rolls:

You are indeed a smart cookie and I’m sure Don’s harsh comment was not intentional. It seems these ‘expressions’ that are often adopted and used by many do in fact stray somewhat from their literal interpretation. And yes the Siemens range are the more cosmetic parent of the lesser spotted Bosch range…..happy hunting! 😀
