Funny forum this. On the one hand it’s very helpful and on the other there seems to be a lot of “I’ve fixed freezers ‘man and boy’ and because you are obviously not in t’trade you are therefore an idiot” attitude with quite a lot posters. I’ve just noticed the same problem with my RS21 and I’m glad I’ve since found better advice on here than was posted above.

For those of you who provide helpful friendly advice on this forum thank you, it’s very helpful to the layperson.

Hi guys read your various feedbacks on this subject, whilst searching for a solution for the same problem, in the meantime I read a report from BBC Watchdog and Samsung have now admitted that this is a design fault and have extented the Warrantee to 5 years for this fault 😛 the number to call is 08009880123 this is direct through to the Samsung dept dealing with this problem 😯 hope this helps

the samsung issue has been well documented, and, according to samsung, has been brought to a satisfactory conclusion
