Water filling in machine when not in use

Hi,

Indesit WG820

Water fills when not in use. Went to do a wash, opened the door and water poured out. Have not done laundry and have noticed it’s full again.

Quick fix or replacement needed?

one of two things . Is it clean water or dirty water?. If its clean there’s a fair chance the electric valve that allows water into the machine is letting water into the machine when it should be closed and needs to be replaced. If its dirty water its down to your plumbing the grey waste hose must go upwards from the drain spigot under the sink so drain water cant run from the sink into the machine
