water filter light

Hello all,,, the red water filter warning light on my Whirlpool side by side american fridge freezer came on so i changed the filter but cant get the warning light to go out,,,have pressed the reset switch and thing bleeps but light stays on any help would be good

have looked but none of the information mentions any way of resetting lamp. it mentions the lamp only to say change filter if it comes on

you could try ringing whirlpool customer services and see what they say

unless another member has had this problem and knows how
