Water Inlet Valve Location – Brandt VI600BE1

Advice appreciated pleasee

All the videos I see on Youtube show inlet valves behind the bottom panel of the dishwasher!

But in mine – there is no inlet valve there!

I attach a .pdf of the exploded parts – the listing says the part is number 330 on the diagram – (top right rear of the cabinet)

From your experiences, do some dishwashers have the valves at the top rear? – and does this mean I have to remove the dishwasher and I will find the valve at the upper rear of the unit?

Easy to access after that?

Follow the inlet hose, it’s on the end of that as the inlet hose screws onto it on almost all of them.

Hi

A parts explosion is what is says on the tin. Sometimes the part you are looking for is in the right area and sometimes not.

The easiest way of locating the valve is to slide the dishwasher forward and follow the fill hose to where it screws onto the valve, 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time they are at the bottom of the appliance. You will then have to work out for yourself how to get at the valve in order to replace it.
