I have a John Lewis JLTDH18 tumble dryer which is made by AEG.
It works well but often clothes are not as dry as they should be. Originally the air filters were always dry after running the dryer but now the compartment has standing water and there is water in the reservoir at the back of the machine.
Up to now, the reservoir has not overflowed and there is always some water in the water drawer at the top of the machine after it has finished its drying cycle.
So it is doing some pumping but just not enough.
I have replaced the float switch (twice) and it has had a new reservoir pump but the problem persists.
Can someone tell me what I am missing, please?
