    washing machine power light flashing on/off also high heat button and time save button flasing at same time 🙁 washing machine will not respond just fills with water any ideas what this might be help just ran out of warrenty.

    Yes, unfortunately it’s an Eeprom Programming Error 🙁

    You will need to call out Hotpoint who can call, check and re-programme your machine for you. 😉

    thank you for the reply would a general washing machine specialist from the yellow pages be able to reprogramme as hotpoint charge arm and leg ❓

    The electronics in these fall over if you smile at them. Pay Hotpoint the £90, get all and any parts required free as part of the deal.

    Type ‘wd420’ into the search facility for this forum only, BTW. Scary reading……….

    Hello Mr England, I did try to phone your mobile several times after receiving your request via Repairs@ but was unable to get through as it was switched off when I tried.

    I have sent an e-mail to your works address, it basically confirms all that has been said above.

    The independent trade does not have access to the software needed to reprogramme eeproms.

    can anybody advise why the flashing lights have changed on the panel power light+high heat still flashing but now reduce creases is flashing instead of time saver can this problem b sorted easier
