I have said I’ll go back and do this next week. The leg’s rusted out due to leak and has completely collapsed. But the cabinet floor around the base of the leg has also nearly had it. I’ve still got a couple of those long strips of metal as used on the 95 series – support bracket I think it’s called. Will one of those fit this later model? I’ll certainly be pleased to see the back of one, had them in stock and unused for about ten years.

dont think so. hasnt the later cabinet got more webs pressed into it for strength ? you might be able to cut and bolt the bracket to fit take a saw a drill and some large pop rivits with you nothing to loose.

Good thinking. Will do as you suggest. This one didn’t seem to have the strengthening plates as usually seen on WM series.

The small plates are bolted on so can be removed to fit the MWP30 bracket on the WM machines, not seen a WD one go through though.

I’m sure you will be able to ‘fettle’ it. 😉

I heard this machine making an awful racket when I was there to fix the cooker a couple of months ago. I offered to investigate but she declined, possibly as it was early evening and she could see I’d had a long day. One of my best customers.
