Hi,
I think that something in my washer/dryer may be blocked. Having looked through the site I’m assuming this to be either the waste pipe, filter or pump, is this correct?
I’ve checked the waste pipe, I’m assuming I can’t check the pump myself?? but what I’m wondering is can I check the filter? My manual doesn’t show where it is (its 5yrs old and doesn’t have the front access panel for a filter…).Any clues?
I am 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that the blockage is due to my 2yr daughter being ‘ILL’ shall we say all over her and my bedding which I washed on a 95 cycle which was fine, it was a 40 cycle I did after that which then did not drain…I’m loathe to call out HP as you can imagine.

It will likely be a blockage or pump failure for sure. Not an easy DIY job and best left to the experts. But the better option is calling out a local independent engineer that covers your Postcode area (much cheaper option than calling Hotpoint out too!) Click link below for one….. 😉
