    I have a WDL540P which is tripping the circuit breaker in the customers home, i suspected the dryer heater but disconnecting it makes no difference. Disconnecting the motor or the wash heater also does not stop it, if i disconnect the AC supply to the board however the tripping stops but i can’t measure any shorts or leaks on the board itself. Before i go and order a board..does anyone have any thoughts?

    Most likely the moulded 13amp plug or the mains filter? Have you checked the wall socket? Earth loop meter check?

    13 Amp plug ok tried diff’ wall socket earth loop test on the supply is fine, have not checked the mains filter as it is before the main board or so i thought, i will nip back out and give it a try. and report back.
