A real puzzle, someones started up a web site with my name.
If you google “Washing machine repair in ******” it comes up with a web page with my company name on it, the phone number is NOT my phone no. but if you ring the number on the web site, my phone rings. 😕
I havent a clue who set up the web page but I get work out of it.
Has this happened to anyone else? or can someone explain what is happening.
My feeling is that someone has set up the page and is monitoring what calls I get from it, only to aproach me and ask me to pay for the site

Touch Local did the same sort of thing as well.
I had three years of an unpaid website off them, never asked for it, never paid for it 🙂
They had a re-directed number on the site as well, was all very strange.

If you signed up for Yell.com this year then they automatically give you a website included in the price.

Dont bother. The number they use is for their marketing purposes, so they can tell how many people has seen the web site. It bounces to your normal number anyway.
