    Hi Everyone

i have an Ikea/Whirlpool fridge freezer purchased in November 2017 (ISIGT model). Whirlpool just told me the 5 year warranty expired 4 days ago and there’s nothing they can do. What a pain!

So, yesterday I started noticing a water residue sitting on the wooden frame at the bottom of the freezer. When I open the door, water drops spill on the floor. When closed, there’s no leaks on the floor.

It seems like condensation forming between the outer part of the freezer door, and the Ikea frame. I can see some condensation to the lower side of the gasket, causing mould on the joints.

The lower two drawers have been de-frosted recently and open/close fine. The upper drawer has not been defrosted in some time and has a large ice residue on the freezer ceiling. All three drawers though don’t seem to block the door from closing properly.

make sure the door is closing. had a few of them where the wooden door catches the frame so the fridge door does not quite close and seal
