    Hi

I have a two month old Bosch washer-dryer

Several times I have notice a gritty white powder around the top of the door and on the seal, I can also feel it up inside the dryer vents in the top of the door seal.

I know what your thinking – washing powder reside! But, I don’t use powder, it’s very gritty (even when wet) and is up inside the air flow holes for the dryer. Also, I’ve noticed that it seems to fall out of the drying vents when the machine is not in use.

    Any advice?

    Thanks
    Neil

Sounds like residue coming from the heater box, you could try putting it on a drying cycle for a good 90 minutes or so to try and clear it. Using it for 10 minutes at a time won’t help

    Hi, thanks for your reply

I tried and it seemed to improve, but only at first. I have a repair visit booked…

    Thanks again
