Had that comment from a customer who had a double oven plugged into a dangling double socket, on a spur off the sockets. The microwave and hob ignition were also plugged in on a three way block.
She commented a few days later that her husband had spoken to a couple of electrician who said it was ok 😯 .

I make that around 16 amps if the grill and oven are on if they are only 2000w elements!! Thats not including the microwave.

Oh and no RCD just a good old fuse unit.

Don’t you just love ’em – I had an electric solid hob a few years back wired on 13A flex, the customer complained of a burning smell everytime she used all 4 rings together…

Went to a built in oven with blown fan element.Looked for isolator switch but couldnt find one anywhere,so asked if I could switch of at mains.Pulled fuse marked cooker and all the power in the kitchen went out,lights sockets and even an outside light that was on!!
Turned out after questioning that local oddjob builder had installed new kitchen in a converted outhouse and wired everything into the cooker line as there was no more spare fuses in the fuse box!!! ❗ ❗ ❗
Told customer that she shouldget it sorted asap and I would return to fix cooker when it was safe.

Best i had was a Philips hood,hob and oven all connected into a 15a chocloate block with a 13a plug stuck on end cust complained nothing worked and smell of burning, checked around further and cust had under counter lights wired but could not see where they were wired to eventually realised that everywhere there was a light there was a socket all the lights were fed directly into ring main at 30a NO FUSED SPURS this all done by a local kichen fitter makes you wonder
