If the heater is OK then its 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain to be the poor quality Indesit PCB at fault. There is no ‘thermostat’ in this machine, the heater is protected from over heating by internal TOC’s.

The temperature is controlled by an NTC which is hard wired to the PCB anyway.

Two different PCB’s fitted, full serial number needed to ID, both around £70.00 or more.

Strange that there is no error message though.

    Re: Were is the thermostat

    Hi.
    I’m a dishwasher engineer.
I must have been to about 30 or so of these over the past 3 years every one needed the pcb changing as the above reply said. They cost £69, so not too bad.
    Hope this helps.
