If it’s really wet,
Fan heater, low heat setting. Couple of feet away from front of machine. Lean machine back a bit so air goes underneath. Lid off to encourage upward air flow through machine. Leave it going as long as necessary. Spin motor once or twice during process by turning drum.iadom wrote:I’m in the hairdryer camp. 8)

Years ago we used to share a workshop with a motor re wind chap he used to place damp motors in an oven to dry them out ….interestingly my dad used to do the same with compressors when repairing a punctured system ,he used to pop them in the oven pipes from compressor out of the door attached to a vacuum pump ,change of oil also and hey presto no blocked sytem ,a trick he picked up from the prestcold factory who he said at the time were not fitting filter driers to there fridges 😯 Cras

Sprinkle with seasoning, place on a flat backing tray and place in the oven (middle shelf) 200 degs (Gas Mark 6) for 15-20mins. Allow to cool (20 mins) before serving. 😈

Still waiting for the new valves to arrive 3/4 weeks later. 😥

micky youve been watching too much youtube…
we had a bosch circ motor die because the salt tank burst, dried it out a bit too quick, and it was clogged full of salt crystals. not sure if it was working beforehand but needless to say it had to be re-hydrated and then dried and was a dodo. so um yeh, if you get a salt tank burst might be worth giving it a rinse before drying…
