Wet washing after cycles finish

Got an indesit IDL 735 dishwasher, washes fine but theres always alot of water left on the items after the wash, using a finish 5in1 tablet, and have tried fairy (power wash something tablets?) too. They were not an all in one tablet but did not seem much worse really. is there anything else i can do or even with an all in one tablet should i be using a rinse aid too?

Also!!!… I have noticed scale building up on the heating element already, i do live in a hard water area, wats best, adding salt or one of the comercial tablets for de-scaling and preventing?

After a little searching found an earlier reply to use with the same tablets. will be trying seperate rinse aid/salt and powder from now on.
Any recomendations on type and makes???????
