ParticipantThis Bosch machine seems to take no notice of how unbalanced the load is when it comes to the spin cycle.
On the wash and rinse cycle the motor reverses ok.
Drains the water out ok.
Is this a module problem? 😕Look forward to some help.

What do you mean by that? Perhaps that the machine ramps straight into spin without balance sensing or it doesn’t ramp into a full spin under load? 😕

Thanks Martin.
If you select spin it drains then drum turns anti clockwise at distribution speed stopping and starting to try and get the load balanced then after a few attempts it will slowly increase motor speed until it reaches full spin speed regardless of wether the clothes are balanced or not.
Motor action seems normal.
Customer says machine walks across the floor and yet it is a concrete floor and the machine is level.
At first I thought it was a motor relay problem on the module as the motor turns anti clockwise only on spin mode but I now realize they all do this.
Motor reverses fine on wash 😕Graham

Have you checked the counterweights and suspension? More chance of it being these than motor I’d imagine.

Hmmmmm?….odd one, not come across this personally but I can only assume that perhaps the ‘fuzzy logic’ circuit has gone AWOL and that the only likely culprit is indeed the module at fault. 🙁
So, just to reconfirm what you say, if (say for example) you put one soggy wet bath towel in on spin only, then it would ramp up to spin regardless of the fact that it is clearly OOB?

Correct Martin, with one soggy wet towel it will ramp up and spin. I will go back and have another look 😕
Thanks

I have a machine that seems to behave in the same way.
It fills and drains, motor rotates but when it gets to the spin it behaves as if the load is out of balance even with a good load that should not give problems.
Did you find an answer to this?February 11, 2011 at 1:50 am #340689multibrand-man

how long has it been doing the fault graham or has it been doing it from new (this is the new model machine I think)
