I must say I’m a little dissappointed at lacklustre build-up to UKW entering its 4th year.
What better time (propaganda wise) it would have been to publish (on the home page) all that has been achieved in that time? OK it has been said before, but it needs repeating more so on this occasion. The membership level, Repairs@, ISE, 10 million hit level imminent, lots of other stuff that could have been credited to UKW in those 3 short years?????
Instead, it appears to me that a much hurried statement has been put in its place….

Quite honestly Martin, I couldn’t be arsed.
I’ve been back on the NWAR phone this week as Craig is on holiday as well as doing the usual stuff and spent last night writing a 2500 word report in an effort to bring an issue that we have to light. Apart from which I’ve had one or three emails to be doing, a website to re-write (ongoing), listings for ISE to update, some graphics to do, tech info to do, put the final instruction manual together and employ a new admin member. Apart from that organise little things like a Xmas night out and the September meeting venue.
God only knows what I’ve forgotten in that little list. 😕
So, the thought of writing a large article was just abhorrent saying all the things I’ve said before time and time again. So I didn’t.
Let it roll to 10M, that’s more important. I had hoped the two would coincide, but I got stuffed there.
Apart from which there’s a few surprises in store and I’m desperately trying to keep them under wraps, which invariably involves keeping my own gob shut.
