😕 We have just had a customer try to register her guarantee with hotpoint quoting model 34189R, Hotpoint said no it starts with WD. On inspection with our stock in the shop we found Hotpoint service phone number on inside of the door and beneth that a label with mod / ser stating model 34189R , Same on tumble dryers. This will confuse the public.

😆 May well be as most of our stock is graded but the salesman told me one of them was new. Mind you he is a salesman if you know what I mean 😉

On all the Hotpoint’s i’ve seen, the model number is on the top front fascia, bottom right hand corner.

34189 IS THE FACTORY COMMERCIAL CODE, IE THIS IS THE NUMBER THE EEPROM IS WRITTEN WITH, HOPE THAT HELPS 😀

The latest partfinder disc includes a data field box in which to enter this number rather than choose the model number from the drop down.
