what does this button do??

Now my Zanussi FJ1296 washing machine is washing (see drum bearing post!), I am now having to fathom out using the wretched thing!

There is a button marked “Quick Wash”. Although its function is obvoius, what exactly does it do to reduce the wash time? IT doesn’t shut the heater off or skip rinses.

Any ideas? machine is a 1200 spin 1998 model year.

It reduces the wash time on Cottons & Synthetics by 20 minutes approx :tup:

I know that, but how? Does it “Miss out” part of the main wash, shorten the rinses, shorten the spins or what??

Cheers guys.
I needed to know if it missed out on rinses & spin because my grilfriend has sensitive skin & needs clothes to be rinsed properly – sod it if they are dirty!!!
