What should I salvage?

    I’ve got a 6 year old Siemens WM14S392GB/10 which has got a blown PCB. The new machine arrives tomorrow and, to my untrained eye, is a very similar model: WM14E461GB.

    Before the old one goes, is there anything obvious that I should salvage and store in case of future problems?

    Short answer is, probably nothing as internally both machines will almost certainly be completely different.

    The soap drawer might fit but like Ken says probably nothing.
