What size wire for a 9.5W electric shower?

I was just wondering what diameter wire is needed for a 9.5kW electric shower.

You need to have a registered electrician look at this as there are number of factors are involved such as length of cable run, external fault loop impedance, method of installation etc. that will determine size of cable required.

Also, is your incoming supply capable of supporting an extra 9.5kW of load?

I suggest that you look at niceic.org.uk for an Approved Contractor in your area.

This work may also need to be notified to local Building Control under Part P of the Building Regulations.
