ParticipantHi,
Is there a thread running on this somewhere?
If not, is it worth £150 approx per year to subscribe to and not have the need to keep purchasing spares discs. Has anybody in fact used this site?

KeymasterThere was a thread on it somewhere Laurence. 😕
From memory the general consensus was that it wasn’t much use IIRC.

Looks like Whirlpool will stop issueing their SIOS disc in favor of tradeplace in the not too distant future judging by the letter I got with my most recent copy.

bshappliancecare does not give you wiring diagrams and technical information which is available on tradeplace.
You have to be authorised by BSH to get access to Tradeplace.
I have internet access from office with ordering ond stock check availability and also off line version on laptop for technical information on site.
I find it to be invaluable, possibly because I specialise in BSH repairs.

OK, so if I may enquire on the Indesit side then of Tradeplace, do they list exploded details on there as on Partfinder? In other words what I’m asking is, if I got a Tradeplace account, would I enjoy access to the same information as there is on the existing Partfinder CD??

I find Tradeplace (Neff,Bosch,Siemens) invaluable as you have all diagrams tech info etc and are also able to order spares and check previous orders online.
Only bug bear is somedays it can be slow depending on usage and if you want access to other manufacturers it is an additional fee per make.Greg

Having had another look it appears that to have 4 manufacturers, Electrolux, Bosch/Siemens, Indesit Co and Whirlpool it will cost £340 ish for the first year and then £260 each year after for one licence.
Too much for the amount of times I would use it.
