Hi katie
Out of the three you have mentioned I would rather go for quality of wash and pwerformance over quantity anyday. The ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty has to tick all the boxes and a local engineer will deliver it, wet test and run through the appliance with you.
This from the ISE website sums up the brand and ethos nicelyISE wrote: Robust build quality + long guarantees + no parts mark up + local service = Long Life

And if it helps any bosch will only have a 2 yr warranty. To get the longer warranty you will either need to get it extended or buy a siemens with a promotional 5 yr warranty. A lot of the Mieles now only come with 2 year warranties up to about £800 mark, the ones which have 5 yr ones tend to be offered on the slower selling models.

Miele are currently offering promotional guarantees until the 31st may 09. The offer is a five or ten year warranty depending on model number purchased. ISE10 comes with a full ten year warranty as standard 😉 .

Also worth reading this article.

ok so maybe there is no benefit from a bigger load? miele are bringing out some new models with 7kg drums in may, is it not worth waiting for these?
so you would rate the ISE10 better than a miele? i can get a miele for £800 with 10 year garante from here:

because they do price match and they are local to me, do you think this is a good deal?

At the end of the day its really up to you. Looking at the long term future of the appliance, then these guys know the ISE inside out, and im pretty sure a call out on one of them wont be 99 quid before they even get in the van, unlike miele. I know that askos went on and on and ill allow the forum to correct me if im wrong but i believe the ise is based on one of those swedish workhorses.
Then theres the cost of the parts. Not very long ago we repaired a 6 year old miele vented dryer that cost £450 new. The parts alone were £130.

If you apply for trade access you will find out much more than the answer to that. 😉

Yes gandh, the ISE10 is based on the pukka Asko machine. The proper one that has the four shocks in it with stainless, “whatever they can make from stainless”, parts.
I love ’em and have done for going on two decades now, superb machines. Admittedly I am a little biased and perhaps overly enthusiastic about these machines as I grew up with them. 😉

the only other washer ive come across with 4x sus struts was a 35 year old bosch washer dryer i had to dismantle before removing from an apartment in a converted stately home on the 5th floor (no lift just a narrow stairway)
talk about engineering – it made stainless steel look cheap – everything was machined and engineered out of brass and the balancing weighs were cast iron in that. poor thing had to come down in 5 pieces to be within H&S guidelines for moving heavy objjects lol. felt really bad replacing it with with a hotpoint w/d

At least removing that one you could use an anglegrinder and some rubble bags……. 😀

you say that but because it was so well engineered every fasterner was either a screw or a bolt of a uniform size. none of this swap-your-tool-every-5-seconds mularky!

Welcome to our world gandh. 😉
These things are built to withstand just about whatever you can throw at them. Oh, and to last 20+ years as well. 😉
They might not be the prettiest to some, they might not have the whizz bang needless and stupid features on them, but they work, keep on working and, do exactly what most people need, well.
Simple to use, uncomplicated, superbly built, robust.

The hotpoint 1600 had four suspension legs, as do the much later Hotpoint/Creda integrated washer dryers, 6240 model for example.
Pretty certain that the very old Hoover machines had four sus legs as well.
