Whatever happened to Dyson washing machines?

hi I drove past a shop in Crouch End, North London last week which had an old looking window display with a Dyson in it , which made me wonder what happened to them? i have never been called to look at one but the thought of the 2 drums going in different directions sounds like they might be a pain in the butt?

They………. stopped.

Overpriced for the market they were pitched into and allegedly unreliable. They are apparently working on a successor.

I rated the Dyson quite highly. It was well made, though not a true “quality” machine like Miele, it was highly innovotive and had great design features. I really liked it. In my opinion too though, it was greatly overpriced.
