I just found someone selling them online at just under £60. Seems a bit steep javascript:emoticon(‘8O’) Someone else is selling at £21 which seems more like it.

1604822 for the WM series with digital controls/tacho is £82.00 ex VAT

1604116 for WMA’s with AC controls is £85.00 ex VAT

Isn’t it about time there were laws against this sort of thing? So presumably, to get a Hotpoint engineer out to do routine repairs on a (say) 5 year old washing machine would cost about £180?

Try an Indesit W123 motor at £86 then :eeek:

TBH, most manufacturers seem to want upwards of £70 for motors 😥

I made a boo boo. I ommitted the word “carbon brushes” from my topic. I meant the price of FHP motor brushes.
