I took a Bosch dishwasher to the scrap metal place, and was given £13 for it.

While I thought it certainly covers double the cost of diesel as I was expecting a fiver for it. So what’s the usual going rates for scrapping dishwasher/washing machine/tumble dryer? So I can “shop” around to look for better rates.

I hope you took out all the working resources before scrapping it…

    Normally about £5 for a T/D, £8 for a D/W, and £10 for a W/M

Sooner take out the parts… reduces the need for more parts to be produced (ethical thing) less pollution for my grandson’s future (family thing) and (recycling thing) more money for me by reusing the parts (economic thing).
