I had a customer email me saying what a shame it is the ISE10 dryer is no longer available. I was busy so I pointed her in the direction of a Maytag version.

Now I’ve just had another customer email me saying ” I had my jaw dropping moment with “I want that machine!” when readying about the ISE 1606W. I was disappointed to see it is no longer available”

So I went to my ISE10 banner, clicked on it through to the ISE site and at the bottom of the page it says

We are sorry but this item is now no longer available (obsolete) and cannot be ordered or backordered.

Are we still selling it or not?

Cheers. I trawled through the forum posts before posting but couldn’t see anything. The title of that post doesn’t give any clue as to its contents so I didn’t pay it any attention.

Re: When did the ISE10 become obsolete?

Think the wording on the site could be better. “Oboslete” will no go down well with exisitng owners as it conjours up images of parts being unavailable (especialy if they then click on the “info” link.)
Maybe just superceeded for a new model would be a better way of putting it.
Whatever, all my exisitng stock has now gone and I am getting enquiries from everywhere, wish I had a few stashed away! I notice even the ones on Ebay have gone now too.

Re: When did the ISE10 become obsolete?

I agree Mark. Can anyone tell me how this situation has arisen? Why have we lost the best ISE washing machine ever with no replacement? I presume Asko have pulled it and ISE can’t buy them any more?

I’ve still got promotional adverts pushing the ISE10 and had no idea they only went to a dead end until customers started emailing me. And before someone says I should read these forums, I don’t have time, and it’s not a very efficient way of promoting a product when the people selling them have to make sure they read a forum to find out the product they are promoting is no longer available.

Re: When did the ISE10 become obsolete?

As an agent, I haven’t received any notification of the ISE10 becoming obsolete. I don’t know if any other agents were aware.

I too have still been promoting ISE products and recently sent details to various local businesses. Im glad in a way no-one has got back to me.
    😳

In ISE’s defence, I would imagine its down to how busy Ken and John have been with other projects and issues. (Insurance company problems & the Amica contract.)

Re: When did the ISE10 become obsolete?

    Hi Guys,

Sorry, I’ve been out of it for the past 24 hours due to… this!!!

    Here’s the deal…

I can’t tell the full story just yet due to a promise made that, as usual, I won’t break. When I can, I will. But, I can say that thus far the introduction of the 1607W and the matching dryer has been, shall we say, a bit of an ordeal.

What I can say is that we’re getting there.

The specs are upped considerably. The supplies are now sorted and we didn’t actually know when we’d have the stock until today and, even at that, it’s still not cast in stone.

Added to which, the big bugbear has been pricing, which is not actually fully resolved at this point in time.

Meanwhile we’re out of stock of the 1606W and CD60 so we had to take them offline. The only option we have there is to make them obsolete (IIRC) so that people can’t order them anyway, which is a hassle if they do. We basically don’t want to be taking orders for machines we don’t have.

Caught us out was that they sold through faster than we ever thought they would so, we were caught out as much as anyone was TBH.

Now we have a Catch 22, we cannot publish the new specs and prices until they are absolutely, totally set in stone or you’d crucify us for getting it wrong nor can we leave the old models online as, we don’t got them nomore…

    See, simples.

Well, not really, but I hope you can see the dilemma and complexity at least a little bit.

Bear with us for a few days please, we are sorting it out.

Added to which, yes Tim you are totally correct in that we have been a bit busy with other things as well and I thank you for the nod on that front.

    K.

Re: When did the ISE10 become obsolete?

The 60 Series machines have been discontinued totally to make way for the new 70 Series machines with an increased capacity and new control panels and aesthetics as well as a lot more which I’ll explain once I have all the details ready to publish.

So, the factory is closed for two months for a refit with production scheduled to be restarting in week 40. Our slot for production is in week 42 but that may slip a little as some Italian mob messed up on the tooling.

    It’s all good fun… NOT!

No wonder you are having big problems with the Mafia involved 😉
