ParticipantCan anyone tell me where I can buy an extension hose (one of the blue ones with the screw connectors on each end), around 4 – 5m for the cold fill for my new american style fridge?
I am connecting the fridge from a cold water point that the dishwasher will also use. I have a Y piece connecter to share the connection but I need a cold fill extension hose for the fridge.
Thanks

Focus DIY, Homebase, B & Q all sell these hoses (usually 1.5 metres long) However you can also get them in 2.5 metre lengths from the same source. Or email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and we can supply also! 😉

Thanks for the quick reply.
However I need much more than 2,5 metres. I already bought a 2.5m pipe, but then realised that i couldnt fit the splitter on the washing machine cold water fill and would have to use the dishwasher one.
Does anywhere sell a 4-5m one? Or is there some way to attach two 2.5m ones together?

They can be joined together using a 3/4 B.S.P male/male hose coupling, no problem from us or via any good plumbers merchant like Plumb Center, Plumbase, B & Q etc etc……… 😉

Thanks for the help guys.
Just to let anyone else with a similar problem know that this is a very simple procedure.
I brought 10m of hose from B&Q, cut it down to size and fitted the ends. Not too difficult at all. It leaked at first so I tightened the end connectors that I fitted with a screwdriver and then used some pliers to tighten the connections and it all worked ok.
