hello, we installed a Cookology downdraft extractor fan 2 years ago by an electrician but its stopped working. Another electrician has been round to look at it and he says its something within the unit so he can’t fix it. I spoke to the company I bought it from (online) and its out of warranty so they can’t help. We’ve discussed buying an annual insurance policy that covers 5 appliances and then making a claim, but all this seems a bit bonkers. We just want to fix the thing. I’ve tried to go to Cookology direct but there doesn’t appear to be a website for them. Any suggestions most welcome. TIA

    the bad news is here

does not mean it cant be repaired but if it needs parts to do that you may struggle

Thanks Dave thats helpful…..sort of! So I think I need to persuade an electrician to take it apart and have a go at fixing it. Or its a new hood – ouch.
