Where can I find the thermostat in my frostfree frigidaire F

Hi
Is it in the ceiling of the fridge where the light is?
I’ve tried to remove this but can only take off the light cover.
There is a dial in front of the light with numbers 0 -7 so I’m thinking that the thermostat in there, am I correct? The problem I have is the fridge/freezer is not getting cold.
Have checked the fan an that is working and the compressor sound like it is working.

Can someone help me out?

If you Google “Frigidair fridge thermostat” there are loads of links to images and if you enter a model number it may even show you where it’s located

Hi

The part Number is 1112797 and yes it is behind the light housing. You just need to be forceful removing the plastic lens..There was some that had a small screw holding the lens in place.

As this is a frost free unit the common faults were that the duct from the freezer got blocked with frost from the freezer and this jammed the fan.

Try defrosting the unit by switching off for 24 hours with both doors open and then restart it.

The defrost timer is on the top under the lid

I tried leaving the doors open over the weekend. But sad to say it never worked.

Is the compressor and fan running ? or does it try then make a click ?

Yes they are both running.I left the doors open last night and switched on this dinner time.Not sure if there was a click when I switched on. It’s still running warm but not hot.
I’ve also seen somewhere on this model there is a defrost timer switch.Could that be a problem? If so where is it on the FRC150FF
