Where is the thermostat on a Candy CS455M

As it says!!! The programme was sticking last week so I took the timer apart and cleaned it but this didn’t resolve the problem. I then thought that it was the thermostat that had gone (as in the water temperature not hot enough to “move” the programme along). The Candy helpdesk confirmed this and have sent me a new thermostat……but where on earth do I find it???? Please help, I hate washing dishes and I’ve been doing that for a week and I’ve got a bad back and it hurts to stand and wash them!!!

Thermostats are located in a plastic clip on the side of the sump moulding. There is also a safety thermostat which screws to the base of the cavity, towards the rear.

Power off before removing any panel.

Sorry to be stupid….but where is the sump moulding?????

It will no doubt be buried in the base somewhere, usually fairly close to the water heating element.
