    Hello all,
    New to the fourm, so please be kind. 🙂

    I am in need of a new fridge freezer and have found two which seem to fit the bill. My current LEC has lasted 5 years which I found a little disapointing.

    One is a Bosch KGN30VW20G no frost. The other is a Liebherr CUN 3123.
    However, I cannot find any reviews in the internet for these models.
    Can anyone offer any advise as to which is the better one to go for? What is the reliability like? Is the Liebherr worth the extra money?

    Hi Adam

    Liebherr are the best brand by a long way. Most Miele refrigeration is made by Liebherr as well.

    Bosch would be a good second choice though.

    Thanks Don,
    Was just worried as I have read a few reviews about a similar Liebherr model blowing control modules after three years. So didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that will not last.
    Also read about a few Bosch’s only lasting 5 years.
    I’m hoping to get 10+ years out of my next one. Is this unreasonable?

    After looking at both the Bosch and the Liebherr in the shop. I think the Liebherr is a better design.

    Now which one to go for 🙂
    The two models I am considering are:
    CNP 3513
    CUN 3523
    The main difference being the 3513 has independant control over fridge and freezer and is slightly more efficent for around an extra £100.

    Is it worth having the independant control? or is it more to go wrong? 😕

    I think the best answer is to discuss your requirements with the shop concerned or give Liebherr a ring direct on 08444 122655 in order for you to decide.

    Thanks Don,
    But I was more after if one was more reliable than the other due to the separate controls. Which the shop doesn’t know and the Liebherr I guess will not tell me. 🙂

    Wondered if anyone here was able to help.

    Ok I ended up going for the stainless duel control version. 😀
    Hopefully it will live up to expectations and last a long time to warrant the price.
