I’m moving house shortly, and need to buy a 100cm range cooker to fill a gap in the new kitchen. I want a dual fuel cooker, with a multifunction oven. I want something that’s good quality. I think the Stoves Richmond model meets my requirements, but am unsure about the quality of the brand. The only other model that ticks similar boxes is the Rangemaster Professional Deluxe. This is considerably more money. Are you paying for a better cooker, or for the name?
    Thanks.

Currently, it’s worth looking at an Ilve, I think John Lewis sell them.

The Stoves is okay but the Rangemaster is probably considerably better if it’s a proper Rangemaster and not one of their bought in things.

I worked for both companies as an engineer, without any shadow of a doubt the Rangemaster is superior in every department in my eyes, especially build quality.
