ParticipantBeen to customer today and condemned her dishwasher. She was sitting there reading the latest Which Report that recommended Beko dishwashers, I am totally confused 😕

Hi.
I work on Beko & I think that they are not as bad as people make out, especially for what you pay compared to other stuff on sale. Their more expensive gear is actually quite impressive. Not Miele or Bosch granted but not as pricey as either so what do you expect.
Just my opinion though.

Tube heater is affordable and worth stocking, circ motor writes them off most of the time. Borderline on the overall quality as far as customers are concerned.

I love Beko.
But I don’t sell them.
I just repair them.
Good company to get in with as there heading for market leadership and are spreading far and wide.

do a lot of their refrigeration as a budget brand.
solid reliable and better thought out than the major brands (hp zanussi etc) also equivalent build quality with the added bonus of low ambient operational temps. they also seem to be the only brand who still produce the out-sized f/f that people have “only a certain amount of room for” and we had one for 12 years before we needed a taller wider fridge at home
i do avoid stocking their frost free models tho as they seem to be a completely different kettle of fish in the reliability stakes
dishwashers also seem good quality for the price, miles ahead of similar budget machines from haier, indesit, whirlpool and candy, and do a decent job of cleaning too.
our shops main brands are amica/statesman/beko for budget, bosch washing/hotpoint refrigeration for midrange, and siemens/liebherr for premium
best thing about beko is their repair viability compared to their main competion based on spares prices 🙂
dont like their dryers and washers are “value for money” but i think the amicas wash better…

Having slated Beko for being cheap rubbish when they first started in this country I to have been surprised at how good they are. The cheap spares help a lot. Customers are very willing to repair. The fridges and freezers seem really reliable. It’s quite nice to have a sensibly engineered and affordable appliance coupled with cheap spare parts! 😯

KeymasterBeko Dishwashers are not bad and just happen to be exactly the same as the Whirlpool which are more expensive
