Which tumble dryer?

Hello, just wondering what are the best brands to go for, if anyone has any ideas? I need a tumble dryer for nappies mostly, nothing fancy, don’t know much about the condensing ones but it doesn’t matter if it’s vented as we have a huge kitchen, and I just let our old one vent into the room – nice warm air! So either would be fine.
I don’t want to spend more than £200 though, particularly as they are so dear to run…is there anything that makes some cheaper then others in this way?

Hi Susie

Go for a vented dryer much more reliable than a condenser and easier to repair. You could consider a sensor model, these turn off the heat when the machine senses there is no moisture present, which in turn can save money. Hotpoint VTD20 available in white or graphite or the VTD60 same colours but has an LED display come into the price range as does the Whirlpool AWZ3413 slightly more expensive but better built.
