Which washer / dryer to buy?

Hi all

Currently have a Bosch WVD24460GB/04 washer dryer.
The machine is getting on & has been apart / repaired multiple times over the years, drum bearings currently on the way out & thinking its about time to invest in a new machine when this one finally gives up.
Apparently newer machines are less repairable with sealed tubs, I would go get an Asko but they don’t do a washer / dryer.
I’m not looking for anything fancy, just something reliable that’s a combined washer / dryer.
Any recommendations of what brands to avoid & which ones are decent?

I’ve tried to resist it but, I just can’t… the best advice I can give on a washer dryer is simply not to buy one if there’s any way you can possibly avoid it.

They are a compromise too far, always have been with the only one I’ve ever seen rated by anyone being from Miele which is, as you’d expect, ludicrously expensive.

Below that, price wise, I don’t think it really makes a huge amount of difference what you go for but, BSH and Electrolux Group are probably about as good as you’ll get without breaking the bank.
