whirlpool 10kg tumble dryer 3RAW2480EMQO

Hi guys!

This tumble dryer keeps blowing the small 6.3A fuse, any ideas please???

The appliance mega’s up ok.

When you turn the machine on and press start the drum moves for approx 1/8th of a turn then the fuse blows!

Hi: I don’t actually know these machines but does the fuse just melt or does it blow violently i.e blackened, if the fuse melts then you have an overload rather than a short. What does the fuse feed? is it by any chance on an Electronic control board.

I think the motor is trying to start in the run winding centrifugal switch on motor

it blows black, not wexactly sure what it feeds?

My initial feeling is motor, but the appliance mega tests ok.
