Whirlpool 2 door fridge /freezer

This is model S21W2D, also very similar to S26S5DF
The problem with this unit is the intermittent flashing of the display and clicking of a relay on the PCB. I noticed elsewhere in another forum that this can be associated with faulty caps. on the pcb and I am quite capable of fixing this, however I cannot see how to get access to the PCB
as can find no way to remove the plastic surround of the front panel.
Would appreciate any help.

Not sure on this model but if its like the latest lg machines thw whole thing os molded into the door. Havd to fit a new door what was crazy. These things are ment to be earth friendly. Sometimes you can access from inside if your lucky

This looks the same as the UK models so I would imagine that to remove the panel you have to:

Pull the drip tray off
remove the 2 screws on the control panel below where the drip tray was.
pull panel out from the bottom an inch or so
push panel up to free the lugs at the top

Did this issue get resolved as I have same issue was going to replace main circuit board.
