Good afternoon,
I am new to the forum and hoping that someone can assist me with a problem I am having with the above fridge freezer!
A couple of weeks ago the alarm went off and where the temperature for the freezer aspect usually is, it stated ‘–‘ and then the freezer started defrosting, with the ice bucket melting etc. However, the bottom half of the fridge and freezer sections both appeared to be working fine (they still do) but the top section of each does not get cold.
The water filter and antibacterial filters needed replacing so I have done this. At the same time, I removed the grill to the front and hoovered all of the dust that had collected. I also removed the grill to the rear and hoovered out of the all the dust. I noticed that ice had collected on the inside of the freezer so turned it off and defrosted it, in the hope that it would be up and running again. Lo and behold, I turned it back on yesterday and same issues, bottom half of each side working fine but rest is not, alarm started again in the middle of the night! Looks like ice is starting to collect again. Any ideas as to where to go next with this please? Thanks in advance for any assistance, appreciated.
