ParticipantGuys, thanks in advance for any help.
Went on holiday and put fridge into vacation mode. Upon return after 8 days we set it back to normal and realised after a few days that the water and ice were not working. That was ago. Tonight I had a look for the first time. I checked supply all good. I then removed the filter and emptied it and gave it a real good shake.(ordered new on tonight) When i reconnected then the water dispenser worked perfectly. It will not however fill water to the ice maker.
I have disconnected the hose back to the supply valve and it is clear of ice. I have also disconnected the icemaker and syringed hot water through the inlet pipe to the ice tray but the water just came straight out of the back.
Could it still be the filter?
I see under the ice tray right near the back of the freezer inside there looks to be a test button but pressing it does nothing. I am just wondering what my next step should be? I cannot find very much info on this model or a schematic for reference.
Also if the test is not working how can i check voltage at the inlet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
cheers

Most likely, not the water filter. I’d wager good money that’s not the problem unless you haven’t changed it in years as you’d still get water, just not very good water and perhaps not enough.
I’m assuming it’s one of these: http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/48128172 … ter-filter
Fitted in the lower front grill. Dunno where you ordered it from but I don’t think that will solve your problem by any stretch.
More likely you have an issue with one of the boards or, the unit is cooling down to temperature as most have to be down to about -14-16?C before they will make ice. Either is a bit of a pain and there’s a thread on here that’s scores of pages long about the clicking noises and no ice etc that might help you.
