    Hi Guys n Gals.

Could somebody tell me if there is an easier way to access the over temp sensor / thermal fuse on a Whirlpool 3RLER5437JQ tumble drier other than to remove the drum to access the electrics behind it?

To clarify – the drum turns but there is no heat, so it’s the thermal fuse on the heater circuit – not on the motor circuit.

    Many thanks

😕 The few commercial models I’ve worked on had the drop down panel below the door (albeit often a bit stuck) which gave easy access to thermal fuse on front of trunking IIRC.

Take out the filter then remove the filter manifold (4 screws) and its there.
Unless you mean the one shot safety stat on the heater box which is best done with the heater assembly removed.
Take off all the wires one securing screw at the front and pull.
