I have a tub to fit to one of these, but i cannot get what is reffered to as a spanner nut off which would allow me to gwt drum out does anybody know if a special tool is required, to draw it off the shaft cheers Jj

Just a thought john is it whacked anticlockwise or clockwise, dont want knacker it up going the wrong way JJ

I forget and I have done hundreds of these 😳 , IIRC it is anticlockwise, I think…..

Thanks John got it fixed, customer well happy i used to love the old hotpoint top loader but now i’m in love with them soooooooooooo easy to work on once you know how to get into them, many thanks jj

Sorry it’s in the wrong forum but It saves rewriting the model number 😳
Anyone know the number for the rear drum seal on this machine?

This machine is a top loader, it has no rear drum seal.
