    hello,
whirlpool dishwasher dwg 406 flashing six times – fill problem?. tried a few things following your helpful forum:
    – cleaned water level indicator in sump.
    – changed waterstop inlet pipe for simple non waterstop type as suspect limescale build up. No change – ran some white vinegar through original – now back on.
    – unplugged/replugged pcb connections on left side flow meter.

    Suspect inlet valve on machine?

    Any advice appreciated. Thanks

    sincerely

If there is no water entering the machine at all, check fill valve. A test meter reading should show in the order of 3.5kOhms. Also the obvious – tap open, fill hose not trapped or kinked over, filter into valve not choked.

If there is water entering the machine, the flow meter in the water matrix is a prime suspect. You may hit lucky and find that the connections have oxidised. A good clean and a pinch of the connectors may do the trick – otherwise, you’re looking at replacing the matrix as an assembly. L/h side panel off to see what’s going on.

Power off for anything other than observation.
