    Hi all

I have a leak on my Whirlpool 6340 WH (intergrated). The machine is about 12 years old. I noticed it because it was tripping the RCD and seems it had been leaking from the door for a while and the overflow pipes drove the water to the lower tray.

When I run it with the front door panel off you can see the water coming out on the horizontal gutter at the base of the door. This only happens after it’s emptied the existing water, releases the detergent tablet and then starts filling. I was doing this on a 40deg quick cycle.

I replaced the lower door gasket but it’s still leaking. The other door seal that goes around the insider top and sides is about £28 so I’m wondering should I try this one next or bite the bullet and buy a new machine? I just don’t want to keep throwing money down the drain trying to fix it but would like to avoid paying for a new DW.

a few pics of the inside and seal – not sure if you can tell if it needs a new seal from this

If the images don’t pull, they are saved in this album https://www.dropbox.com/sc/wyrotna6czpo … D89cgODCCa

Not sure if this is relevant but I also get a pulsing sound when it starts up. It’s like it isn’t starting properly. You can hear the relays going and the front panel lights go on / off. Just doesn’t seem right and I don’t think it’s always done it. I know it may not be relevant to the leak but if someone thinks it’s on it’s way out then I know to just get a new machine.

Here’s a video of it having one of its moments.

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year !!
