Some time ago I got this F7 code intermittently. Drain and retry and it would often then work okay. A local repair man took a look and found no internal leaks, and suggested that encrustation on the rubber door seal might cause leakage onto the base plate and trigger the leak float. I cleaned off the seal and everything worked fine for several weeks. Now I’m getting F7 all the time. Lay machine onto side and a small amount of water runs out, but base plate and polystyrene float seem dry. Does a bit of water always run out? There’s a large white plastic tank that the incoming water pipe goes straight into. I can’t see any structure such as the flow meter I’ve seen mentioned elsewhere. One thing: The right-hand section of the tank appears to be full of some kind of orange jelly-like material, with bubbles set into it. Is this normal?…… or a clear indication of a fault condition? Can you please clarify the actual meaning of the F7 code. On-line advice seems to be split between a water-in problem, a water-out problem, or a baseplate leak float problem.
Thanks.Roy B PS No idea what the HTML and BBCode below here means. What’s a poll?
