Have a Whirlpool 858615815010 American Fridge Freezer and the freezer stopped working the display panel number goes off and two dashes start flashing and the warning beep starts,Had a local engineer out £50 just to tell us to defrost it which I did and it started to work again. But it has done it twice since each time turn electric off and leave door open overnight let it defrost a bit of a puddle appears on the floor underneath once switched back on starts to work again both times lasted about a month. This time removed the cover from the back of the freezer the fan and the radiator like thing was full off ice and the fan wasn’t moving,the plastic housing that hold the fan is cracked and broke were the screws hold it to the unit( not sure if this is relevant) Once defrosted and put back together goes back to displaying 18 and freezer working anybody any advice on how to repair this problem.
