whirlpool ADG 4504 D/W

    Fitted new Pcb timer .machine starts pump runs goes dead ,sometimes also fills then goes dead..green (fault) light flashes..have tested heater/pump/circulating motor/inlet vavle/stat ect .cant find any faults has anyone any ideas please John.

    The model is incorrect John but have you checked/changed the NTC ?

    Notorious for this sort of fault 😉

    Dave you are correct the model is ADP4504.Is the NTC in the base. I
    bridged a plug with 2 cables feeding a component Poss NTC not sure.
    this didnt make any difference. John

    Dave just a update re dishwasher..I am not sure how to check NTC is this a type of thermister or cut out.. TOC. please advise.

    Rocker, the flashing light should be flashing a code. The codes are in a sticky in the trade technical enquiries pages.
    The NTC is a thermistor. If it’s faulty you should get a single flash, i.e. flash, pause, flash, pause etc (looks to be continuous).
    The NTC plugs into the bottom of the bowl, it’s a twist fit and has two blue wires going to it.

    Brian, checked sticky thanks, it does appear to be NTC thats faulty, will replace and try again…thanks for your help. John.

    Ongoing problem with this D/W. I have fitted a new timer( Pcb) and a NTC
    Still have fault, The machine fills with water then stright away empties green light flashes about 1 sec intervals. please can anyone help..

    OK, if you’re reading the flashing light properly then it’s misreporting the fault. Common problems were the flowmeter (unplug from the metering tank, clean and tighten connection, plug it back on), pressure switch (black thing on the side of the bowl) and of course the NTC.
