Hi,
I moved into a new place and this is my first time using the dishwasher.
I switched it on one night and it started up, I could hear the motor running, and I went to bed.
When I looked at it nothing had been cleaned. Since then there’s just been a continuous flashing light on when I try to turn it on, and nothing else from the machine.
There was no salt in the dishwasher, I filled it up, but there’s no difference in the light, so I presume that wasn’t the problem.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Press and hold the start button, until the led goes out. Shut the door, drain pump should run for about one minute and stop. Open the door, switch off, switch on and select a programme, then start. Don’t go away! It should fault more or less immediately. Once it starts beeping, open the door and note the pattern of the start led flashing – ie, 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat.
This is an error code, which we should be able to advise on.

If you have never used this dishwasher before,check the water supply is on.I was called out to a whirlpool today,6 flashing lights.New tenants moved in today and the water was switched off!

Correct – no fill detected in the time allowed. If no water enters the machine water supply is the obvious candidate, followed by the inlet valve failing. If there is water running in, the flow meter or level switch may be at fault. Check that the water level does not exceed about 1/3rd of the way up the salt cap at the very most.
